The signing of the Memorandum of Agreement between the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA) and Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) marks a pivotal moment for the healthcare sector. This strengthened collaboration enables more effective joint investigations, inspections, and referrals between the two regulators — a critical step toward holding unqualified individuals to account.
